Problem with water cooling size.

Hello. Recently i purchased silentiumPC 240 water cooling and unfortunately one part of the motherboard doesn't let me install second fan on radiator. Can i run my PC with only one fan on the radiator? Is there going to be a significant difference between temperatures?

I would be more concerned about potential leaks from damaged radiator.

Like @PopsicleHustler said your one radiator channel looks pretty damaged and I would be more concerned about that then not being able to run 2 fans on the radiator. To simply answer your question though yes there's technically nothing wrong running 1 fan on a 2 fan rad you just loose some cooling capacity.

Damn. I thought that's a slight damage. Thanks for the info, gonna try exchanging it.

Ya I would consider bent fins slight damage but any damages to the channels running the length of the rad I would def try and return or exchange. Better safe than frying your hardware if it decides to leak later.

I would expect an impact in cooling. Unless they make the kit a 240 with two fans for no reason. Get a better case or move its location. Assuming it still works.
