Verizon's fios seems to be held together with glue and duct tape because many people I know who have it say theirs fluctuates a ton as well. Considering it's Verizon I'm honestly not surprised.

I'm quite jealous of all of you with fiber. I'm currently on AT&T U-Verse and only getting 12 down and 1.5 up. Terrible.

One day I hope Google Fiber comes to California.

it does fluxuate but considering I don't have access to Google fiber and governments restrain small local ISPs with good speeds and prices from even starting, I had to choose the better of the evils lol

Downloaded ESO Beta base in 30mins (22GB). The company I work for pays for this, so that's nice.

Also do any of you guys have data-caps? I have a 250 gig cap that I don't ever go ever, but one month I decided to download every steam game that I didn't already have downloaded and I downloaded around 180 gigs in a 2 or 3 day period. My steamapps folder adds up to around 481 gigs, however.

Fibre is capable of much more, but that's a chosen rate limit.

Rate limited of course. Fibre is capable of much, much more.

Here's my fibre optic connection :)

But what do you actually pull down/up mb/s? Your speed is directly related to the source you are accessing. Having high numbers of a Speedtest mean nothing if you download from a source that caps you @ 1mb/s

I often download from torrents. My download speed is insane (my top is 20mb/s) and my upload aswell :)
