  1. oh okay, i dont know anything about cpus... thankyou for easing my anxiety
  2. not throttling, performance is all fine... just noticed it in hwinfo after a play session wondering if its normal behaviour, average temps when under load are average 70 and rare low 80s. I am using hwinfo, intel xtu, msi afterburner and discord. My buddy was streaming cuphead to me through remote play... here is a photo of my hwinfo stats. I have high performance mode enabled also. i have heard that "Its normal for it do down clock to 800mhz at idle and very light loads, it ramps up accordingly as needed." not sure if this is still true, it was for the i7 4790k 4 years
  3. tarkov is a little unoptimized, look up some fps fix guide on youtube. I remember one of them had me delete my shader cache and that surprisingly helped

  9. its either that or the gpu and the psu is most definitely expelling louder db, my question is what would be a considerable upgrade that perhaps wont make coil whine within 3.5 years of use, and that would be a great match with a 3080 if that does not exist that i guess I am SOL. either way, worth asking.

  11. 1 Coil whine IS a problem for me or I wouldn't be creating a thread about it, 2 I struggle with chronic migraines and any pressure around my head triggers that so yeah kinda outta the question 3 I have heard of individuals isolating the problem to a certain component and fixing it by replacing said faulty component. 4 its extremely loud and absolutely distracting to me

  13. I would have thought as the years go on we would have better build quality and it would limit the amount of coil whine on most parts. I even heard the ps5 has some crazy coil whine sometimes, haha!
  14. perhaps we could compare! I will upload a youtube video of my coil whine at its worst today sometime and maybe if you want you could do the same for science
  15. but this msi trio is not even a year old! bought brand new from amazon
