Difference 2080 super gaming oc vs. Windforce oc 3x

Is the difference the slightly higher OC with 1845 MHz and rgb? Price difference is only 7 euros so might aswell go with the gaming oc?

Generally the higher cost models of the cards come with better heat sinks and more fans.
Giving them higher OC potential, ,many of them consist of chips that have won the silicon lottery

May as well for peace of mind, you won't be able to tell in use but you;ll be happier knowing you're getting a touch more MHz in action.

If I’m correct Gaming OC also have 0 rpm mode but I may be mistaking that card with some other.

Windforce OC also has zero rpm mode.

Looking at the Gigabyte website this card have something what they calling

However when I was looking at some reviews of it I found this topic on Gigabyte forum:

I've noticed that if the fan is set between 1% and 29% speed, all three fans turn off and back on every second.  
The monitor will show them go from say 1,200 RPM to 0 RPM, then back to 1,200 then 0... literally every 1-2 seconds.  
Every time the fans start back up there is a clicking sound you can hear from across the room.
At <30% The fans turn off and on ~30 times a minute, so the click is every 1-2 seconds.

If I set the fans from between 30% - 100% fan speed, they stay on the entire time and there is no clicking noise.

At say, 25% fan speed I can look and see all three fans spinning for 1 second, then stopping for 1 second and so on.
At 35% if just spins. “

I actually have the same problem with the 1660 ti gaming x now that you mention it in this thread. It would to exactly that if I just let it work in its factory fan settings. I simply created a custom fancurve with msi afterburner so they only start spinning when the gpu hits 50 or 60 degrees. 

 

It worked for me at least. No idea why it does it though
