New PC based on AMD.

Hi guys,

 

I am planning on putting together a gaming PC based on AMD. I don't wanna pay a lot of money, but I want to be able to game in 1080p and high/ultra details. Most games I play are: RDR2, Battlefield 1, 4, 5, Witcher 3 and soon Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Cyberpunk 2077.

 

This is what I came up with:

 

MSI B450 GAMING PLUS MAX - compatible with 3rd gen Ryzen

AMD Ryzen 5 3600

Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX 2x8GB 3600

Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT GAMING OC 8G

ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro NVME 256GB M.2 SSD

Sandisk Plus 1TB 1000GB SSD

Cooler Master V650 Gold PSU / PC

Fractal Design Define C Midi Tower

Yeah, it's indeed a sold build. Use Tweakers or HWI to find the best prices.

You're either overpaying or grabbing RAM with pretty sloppy CL timings. 3200mhz is cheaper and can be overclocked up there.

Depending on the market you could likely grab a better unit for around the same price. Corsair TXM, RMx, BitFenix Gold/Whisper, BQ Pure/Straight Power 11 for example.

This would probably be a little better. Everything is very similar, except:

-RAM changed out

-Went for a different 5700XT

-Cheaper case

-Different SSD

-Different PSU

I am used to Cooler Master and I will keep using Cooler Master as my first choice for a PSU, but thanks for the advice I will look into the RAM issue.
