Type msconfig on windows search, choose "Boot" tab, click advanced options tick maximum memory box it should say 10240mb then just hit ok, apply and ok, after that just restart ur pc and check if it fixed it.

Download Cpu-z and check over there if it’s same. Windows sometimes reporting very strange things so I’m not fully trust it.

'Tis sad but true...as good as the x58 platform was...it does suffer from random memory slot issues...can be different slots in different boot up, then they'll all work, then only 1. All you can do really is verify that each stick of ram registers correctly, 1 boot at a time t determine if there are ram issues, then try the various sticks in different slots, trying to determine if 1 or more slots are problematic...it really is hit and hope for the best...
