Good Wireless Add-in Cards?

I am moving into my first apartment (coming from college) this coming June, and would like to turn my existing PC (store-bought) into my data and backup server. I would then build a newer PC with just an SSD boot drive and get all data from the server. However, I don't want to run wires to the server, and there are no existing RJ-45 connections in the building except for the internet line. I would ideally like to have it squirreled away in case of a break-in, so wireless seems the best option. I also would like it to be reasonably fast. Can anyone recommend a wireless card/module and a router that would allow for good operation of this setup?

If we are talking servers, just run the damn cable. Wireless AC is the best option if you want speed, but its a lot of extra money.

If you want to go wireless I would choose any router with Gigabit ethernet ports and use a powerline interface between your server and router. With that your speeds would be almost as good as having it directly connected to your router. Going with a complete wireless solution, the best speeds you'll be seeing would be about 10-20Mbps rather than between 80-100Mbps with powerline.
