Hi there,

I'm planning an ITX build for my living room. The purpose is 1080p gaming, emulation and multimedia.

The build is intended to be as silent and cool as possible in that case. My country is Spain.

Do you guys think this is right? The fan positions would be 1 rear exhaust and 1 top (front) intake. Everything in the build can change except the case form factor, it must be a shoebox case with no more than 23 height (I chose core 500 because of decent air cooling given that its a itx shoebox case). The price can´t get any higher than 1200.

I don't plan to overclock, just want to get the base boost clock as high as possible. I know that 750W is overkill but from my experience, less that won't age very well.

PSU is way overkill, big enough to make cable management a pain (prefer SFX PSU) and board doesnt work natively with 3rd gen CPUs. Might want M.2 SSD as well to save space

If you're managing to fit a U14S, you have no shortage of space.

I agree with @Jurrunio, I'd get a modular SFX power supply. You can get a 650w for the same price, and really, that's almost double what the system will use.
