I'm betting it's coil whine. Here's an ancient video on the subject:

Regarding a solution: I had briefly experienced this with my SLI'd GTX 770's back in the day. I found that sometimes setting a frame rate cap in the game settings or external software (e.g. Afterburner) can help since it seemed to only happen when generating high frame rates.

As said above, probably coil whine.

Try settings your fps to something stupid low, to see if the noise persists. Try the command "fps_max 24" (without the quotes).

Coil whine usually happens when:

1. your device is using a lot of power

2. it is outputting a lot of fps.

Usually the whine is from a videocard or possibly a PSU.
