Hello there,

I have been having this problem for months on end now and it is really grinding my gears. I have this problem where my task-bar will disappear randomly and for no apparent reason other than the fact that it wants to p*ss me off.

Generally, it will only happen in MS Edge Dev browser but it has happened within Google Chrome as well. Below is a screenshot.

The task-bar will appear again only after i have pressed the Windows key and then it is gone again if I go back into Edge. It is fine in other applications (including with edge open in the background) but when I tab back into Edge it starts again. Edge is not full screen.

I have tried the below settings with no effect whatsoever.

If I turn on Automatically hide task-bar in desktop mode then it will never appear again even when I hover over it, once again only appearing when I hit the Windows key.

Please help me regain task-bar functionality again, I may just switch from Windows entirely otherwise. (bit drastic I know but I am a keen Linux user also).

Cheers, Brennan.

Hiya,

Thanks for the help... Although apparently 'C:\WINDOWS\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml' does not exist... So now I don't know what to do.

Cheers, Brennan.

Locking the task-bar only prevents the movement of it though...

Just said that cause it was on my settings like that.

Ah I see, the weird part though is that if I do move my task-bar to another side, it will not disappear. Only when it is at the bottom does it disappear for me... :/
