I am going to university next year and I wanted to build a PC to take with me, one that can game but also do some machine learning and computing related tasks as I am applying to Computer Science. Also do some very light editing of videos and photos.

I have the following part list:

AMD Ryzen 7 2700X

GIGABYTE AORUS B450 I PRO

MSI RTX 2070 AERO ITX

Corsair Vengeance LPX Black 32GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 Dual Channel Kit

512 GB ADATA SX6000 M.2 SSD

Seagate Barracuda Guardian 4TB Hard Drive

Corsair SF600, 80+ Gold, 600W

Velka 5 Case

Any thoughts?

it seems that the case can take a full size gpu, why did you chose the itx version of the 2070? you also might wat to look at the prices for the 2070 super, as it's quite a lot better than the 2070, and usually not more expensive. I'd also try to go for a 3600 c16 ram kit. there are a few nvme drives that are better than the adata sx6000, such as the silicon power a80, sabrent rocket, team group mp34, adata sx8200, corsair 510.

I thought that the Segate Hard Drive would take up a lot a space more space, unfortunately I can't find the b450 Gaming Plus ITX motherboard in my country's stores and this motherboard only supports 3200Mhz. But will definitely search for the 2070 super and a better nvme drive. Thank you for the suggestions.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

Should not be an issue but the second gen Ryzen parts dont have as good memory controllers as third gen so no guarantee. I would only go for 3200MHz RAM unless its not a small price jump to get the 3600MHz
