New PC Stuck in Boot Loop

Go to solution Solved by Juular,

Try running just one RAM stick (both of them separately).

Hi Guys,

I just built my first PC. After I finished building it I tried to boot it into the bios but I am stuck in a boot loop and my monitor gets no signal. The PC turns on for about 20 seconds and then switches off for 3 seconds and repeats. Most people say that I should pop my CMOS out and put it back in, but this would only reset the bios. My parts are brand new and since I never actually managed to get into the bios and hence never changed anything I hardly believe that a bios reset will help. Do you have any help on how to fix this?

My Parts are:

AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor

ARCTIC Freezer 34 eSports DUO CPU Cooler

ASRock B450M PRO4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory

Zotac GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER 4 GB Twin Fan Video Card

Crucial BX500 480 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L MicroATX Mini Tower Case

Corsair CXM 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply

ARCTIC P14 Silent 29.8 CFM 140 mm Fan

ARCTIC P14 Silent 29.8 CFM 140 mm Fan

Wait for 15+ minutes. My pc does this wjen ram is set to XMP with 1.35V it has to be 1.410V.... After 15 minutes it should go to bios setup

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

Do I need to be pressing the delete key to boot into bios the whole time or do I just switch on the monitor and the PC and leave it running and ignore that the monitor is getting no signal?

Thanks! I got it to work with one ram stick, do I need to update the bios or something to make it work with both?

If it works with one stick but not with another then RMA this kit, if it works with both sticks plugged one at the time then RMA motherboard. Try different slots\slot pairs too.
