Looking for a good value display

Go to solution Solved by TrigrH,

LG 32GK650F should be at the top of your budget

I’ve been looking for a decent 1440p, 144Hz display for about 2 months now, but still cannot find anything under 250-300 euros/dollars.

I value colors, contrast and brightness over response times, but still would really like that 144Hz fluidity, as my most and main played game is War Thunder. For now, the only thing that seemed to kind of fit my needs is the Samsung C27JG52 (1440p, 144Hz, VA, 4ms, curved), at least from the specs, as there isn’t a lot about it online, but recently it went up exponentially in price, at least in my country (Italy). Other options are 1080p 144Hz, from Aoc or Asus, but my GPU (RX580) doesn’t really hold up in that case, because I have to do 4x SSAA otherwise it looks like a**. Does anyone have any recommendations? I’m coming from 1080p 60Hz 9ms IPS.

1440p, 144hz, and high color gamut is gonna be over $400, the samsung one you posted is the cheapest one by far, and that's probably because samsung make their panel tech. for black friday I got something in line with this for $350. either increase budget or cut color.

What about https://pcpartpicker.com/product/MXQG3C/dell-s2719dgf-270-2560x1440-155-hz-monitor-s2719dgf

Reviews are good, works in g-sync compatibility mode. I know it's a TN, but that VA in the samsung isn't that great. I have a samsung VA curved display myself and often find it too slow in generel.

actually that's because it can't accept HDR signal, which is kind of a waste for that WCG potential..

it is still otherwise a great value monitor though, I just recommend one for my friend and he bought one for around 250 buck (32inch on top of that)
