Msi b450 tomahawk Cpu features

I was having a look on "1usmus power plan" and to the prerequisites in bios, under cpu features.

I would like to ask about these features(what they do):

 

Global C-state Control

Power Supply Idle Control

CPPC

CPPC Preferred Cores

AMD Cool'n'Quiet

PPC Adjustment

I have not overclocked and I use the ryzen balanced power plan but I like the idea that the system saves more power.

Have these any downsides?

Unless you get a power meter, you won't know if you're saving power or not.

Leave it to defaults and use the balanced power plan and the cpu will lower its power consumption dynamically.

I understand what you say but I would like to know what these options do.

 

I have already set global c-state control from auto to enabled with no impact.

 

But what about the other options?
