You still don't need anywhere neat 850w though.

 

Those are all front panel connectors, except for the first picture- thats your cpu power. The power supply has nothing to do with any of those (aside from cpu). I'd recommend watching a few pc build guides before you touch anything.

looking for 750w and higher, how do i check what is compatible with the motherboard?

Nearly every power supply with a wattage higher than 400 should have adequate support- eg. 8 pin cpu, (hopefully) at least one 8 pin pcie

 

Why do you need 750W? What are you powering?

a 1080 ti, figured i would need higher than 650w

Nope, you can get by with a decent 550w unit.

 

I'd shoot for an RMx from corsair.

Sure. But you really don't need to get an 850w unit.

 

Only reason you would is if you had multiple GPU's- but that kind of setup is dead.

Because i pretty sure that you can get way better 650W PSU like Corsair RMx or Bitfenix Whisper for the price of Corsair TX850W.

My 650w is working amazingly with the card, looks like its still holding up
