Internal USB 3

How many front USB 3.0 will one internal usb 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 support? If less then 3, can you link a splitter/hub that would allow me to do this?

Usually they support 2 USB front panel ports, while most boards have two of those headers.

I think you're looking for a PCIE USB controller though, with a front panel USB 3.0 header on it:
