Hey guys i want your opinions on this dilemma I have! I am building a PC like next week but haven't decided on a CPU yet! I am definitely going Ryzen but I don't know which one! I was looking at the Ryzen 5 2600 but because I won't be able to utilize my PC as much after summer I was thinking of going with the cheaper Ryzen 3 2200g which goes for 75 euro here on Greece! I am planning on buying a GPU though! What do you think? Tell me better cheap options if you have!

How much is the 2600 in Greece?
And what GPU are you planning on using, something like a 1050 Ti won't see that much of a difference in games but faster GPUs might.

why no dark mode?

Also, my thought was to get the 2200g or something around that price and then upgrade after I finish school considering that I'll have a lot more time!

Yeah, most games won't see that much of an increase with the 2600 compared to the 2200g, maybe 10-15 FPS at most and for a little over half the price I think that's a better deal. Gap should be even less if you overclock the 2200g a bit.

If you're using a dedicated GPU anyways, have you considered a Ryzen 5 1400 or 1600...they are dirt cheap now and offer 4c/8t, 6c/12t compared to only 4c/4t with the 2200g. I believe they can also be overclocked.

The 2200g is an excellent budget CPU though, especially for light gaming with the igpu.

Thanks for the reply! I'll consider the 1400 ,which goes for just 10 more euro, depending on availability though!

If you're using a dGPU, skip any G variants.

If you are buying a gpu, skip the 1050ti and just buy an RX 570 for or a 1650 ti, assuming they are reasonably priced.

The RX 570 costs 25 euro more here than the 1650. should I spend that 25 euro more for the RX 570 or should I go with the 1650?

Can't really say for your market.

What about the Asus Radeon RX 570 4GB ROG Strix Gaming OC? I can get it for around 160

Is the strix model cheaper than others. If it is that is a good deal. The strix version har cool features. RGB, zero fan mode, one of the best accoustics and cooling

If both 1650 Super and RX 570 cost the same, get the 1650 Super, it is bit faster than RX 570.
But if you can find 8GB RX 580 for around 160, then that one is to go for. RX 570 is a good buy in 120-130 range.

Prices I can get each GPU:

RX570 4GB: 160 and 8GB: 160

RX580 4GB: 169 and 8GB: 185

GTX 1650 Super: 168

Which one do you think is more worth? (The prices are in euros)

Also because I want as cheap and as good as possible for now do you recommend the Ryzen 3 1200 to go with one of those cards?

Its not faster. What a shame. Look for reviews on youtube, like hardware unboxed. 5500 XT is on 580 8gb level of performance but its little more expensive.
