By staying at 2133? General loss in performance, memory heavy tasks will be slower

Just go into the bios and use an XMP setting. It takes two seconds

Hi guys,

Just wondering, I’m getting a Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200Mhz and I read articles said that if we just plug and go, it runs at 2133Mhz. Is it right?

Should I OC to 3200Mhz or just use the 2133Mhz. I mean is it worth it?

Will there be huge speed difference?

Wearing out the RAM faster?

Damaging Mobo’s RAM slots?

High temperature?

Or the native 2133Mhz works just fine.

Thanks guys

If you have a ryzen cpu, it's more than 100% worth it.

Intel, worth it, but not as much.

It takes two clicks in the bios regardless
