McAfee on iOS is essentially snake oil. All of those anitvirus apps on iOS are. The app can't actually do anything.

but it keeps on checking apps and the internet. After deleting the app should you turn on ios security, like windows 10 for example

Well the apps in ios are sanboxed, so they really can't touch much the core system or other apps. So you can't really have a third party antivirus on ios.

And ios doesn't really have traditional anti viruses, as it will only let you run signed code, so you can't really just download a run a program like you can on windows.

what do you mean by ios security?

It can't really check apps, as a normal app can't see what anouther app is doing or scan anouther apps files.

There is no iOS "security." The whole operating system is it's security. It's not a service that you can disable/enable.

There is no normal anti virus on ios.

Don't install a antivirus app on ios, it can't help with security, its just snake oil.
