External HDD or Internal HDD?

Hey guys! So, today, after I downloaded ESO, it seems I have less storage space, and as I had said, I'm gonna buy a new HDD. But now, I'm confused between An Internal HDD and an External HDD. Which one should I buy? Both of them are nearly same priced.But, I have some questions:

 

Does the External Hard Disk work on any computer as far a PC has a USB? Or are there any other configurations needed? I'm looking at this as External and this as Internal. Which one should I buy? I go out many times where my friends have some good games and I'm like "can I get the game"? So, An External storage drive is a better option.  But, Is it right to have a hard disk hanging from a USB port? 

 

Just let me know the answers of these questions.  (BTW, I'm not getting a HDD for a 30GB game)

external hard drives can be used on any pc, so can a internal if you get a sata to usb, however i would go for the external drive, just for the warranty and the added protection of the hdd case.

You can use the external drive with any computer.

Just not PC -> Mac.

Always go internal if you can. And yes if the pc has the interface the external hdd has you can hook it up.
