Hey everyone! Pretty new to all of this so I'm welcome to critique. I'm looking into building a rig for my girlfriend and I.

She wants to: game, edit pictures, edit videos, and casual web browsing.

For me: gaming, editing videos, doing college homework, running sims for college (like body sims for biology, chemistry, and kinesiology).

any recommend specs that you think i should hit for and certain parts?

thank you for your time everyone!!

well gaming is a pretty broad range, people love to play all different types of games from indie low graphics games to aaa+ title games and they chase frames per second $$$$$$$$$$$$

For a mid range PC it's hard to say no to a 5700 and R5 3600, but that depends a lot on the budget.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

I'm more of your casual COD, Apex, Battlefield, Fallout, Destiny 2.

She just plays Sims and Fallout.
