Ditch that GTX 1060 and get something like a Vega 20 or RX 5700XT from AMD

Get a compatible wifi card

Get another 8GB ram stick

Check tonymacx86 for compatible part

no your mostly likely going to want an AMD gpu, more ram, and a compatible board

missed typed my ram i have 16gb but do i need an amd gpu? i dont have the funds only really doing this to sideload apps and vms arent working

Dude, don't worry, you can use the integrated gpu from the 9600K, to put things in perspective the latest Mac mini's from 2018 only have igpus :)

You can either use your iGPU and install Catalina or Mojave or whatever you want, but if you want to use the gpu you will be limited to High Sierra

CPU: i7 3820@4.3Ghz GPU: Gtx 1060 RAM: 16gb HyperX Fury CASE: S340 Elite Cpu runs nice and hot ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
