New gaming/editing build

This is my first PC build I've set and I'd like some thoughts and suggestions on it

I'm gaming at 1080p max or 1440p high if possible, I might not be overclocking, not sure of the editing software entirely I'll be using either.

If possible, I'd like peripheral recommendations too (mouse,keyboard,speakers,headset,monitor)

For gaming, the R5 3600 make more sense

 

dont need X570 if you dont plan on upgrading to a Ryzen 9 CPU in the future

 

No price tag for the graphics card

I had seen the R7 2700x go on sale for a bit more like around 60% so I thought since I was doing editing/productivity it wouldn't be a bad choice either

 

Yeah I guess you're right about the Motherboard I just saw a good one with Wi-Fi that was on sale and fit into everything else

 

The RX 5700 XT OC by Gigabyte goes for around 400$ USD I think it's like one of if not the best price to performance cards with excellent temps [relative to the other variants]

I was considering looking at an M.2 NVME drive but the ones I had seen seemed sketchy on reliability and price.

The ratings look good on Amazon so I'll do some research and check them out

I think Red Dragon from Powercolor and Sapphire Pulse cost below $400 now?

imo it's between the MSI B450 Carbon AC, or Asus Crosshair VII Hero Wifi (X470). They dont have PCIe 4.0 support, but MSI one has all the basic stuff and Crosshair VII has all of them.

Software will determine older CPU with more cores or newer CPU with less cores is better. Also software determines the better GPU, AMD GPUs can only use OpenCL while Nvidia GPUs also have access to CUDA, even though OpenCL tends to run faster on equal priced AMD cards.
