My logic is that you cannot diagnose a cats psyche based off what the op said. Not every cat had the same personality traits, the same wants, etc.

Uh... cats feel pain when getting kicked. Same with dogs or any other pet, physical abuse physically hurts. And just like people, it psychologically hurts too.

In this context you are trying to claim that he is mentally abusing the cat by putting it in the bathroom. You have no evidence to support that. The cat might hate it the cat might love it. You dont know and you cant know. Not all cats even want affection. 

 

All cats feel pain. So theres no argument that its not abuse to punt one.
