I agree with the above posts. 

Although it is in beta, it feels like a Skryim rip-off with nice and fancy graphics but crappy gameplay and such things.

I can already tell it's going to be the typical MMO using the usual mechanics. And that is a major turn off for me. I got through the opening part and was bored. So bored. 

The only thing that got me through that was the graphics and the atmosphere. But that can only get me so far.

Extremely boring, only made it to the second zone before completely giving up. It's not a bad game by any stretch of the imagination and I assume people into the Elder Scrolls games will enjoy it. But it doesn't do anything new for me.

 

I think Bethesda dropped the ball and missed out on an opportunity, being completely honest if the game had the same mechanics/skill system etc. but was in the Fallout universe it really would've stood out in the MMO market. But instead it's just another typical 'dungeons and dragons' type MMO. There aren't many FPS MMOs and definitely none with a compelling and interesting story.

 

On a more positive note I do like how the quests actually take you through the game and have a directed flow with a consistent story to follow, instead of just having a single quest hub that will give you 5-10 random quests to go collect stuff.

 

As to the "it's just BETA" argument. Yes I know, and by release a lot of the bugs will be ironed out and the game will be polished and tuned. But that's not my problem here, it's just flat out boring. There's not going to be a magic patch before release that's going to make the game fun, and if they want the combat to feel at all responsive they've still got a lot of work to do. And by a lot of work I mean a new system entirely, which we all know isn't going to happen.

 

I really think they should have focused their efforts on making this another single player game. The environments are nice and I really would've liked to explore a much more in-depth world in the new areas by myself in a stronger engine and with a story more focused around the player themselves with choices that actually have meaning. Not just "don't listen to your mum, follow your dreams and make weapons!" I now have a new weapon vendor in town, yay I guess.

About 60% of that is the game installing after the download, so you're further in than 6% of the total 20GB.

Dont like the game, it feels unpolished and a year or two unfisnished, yes you might call it beta, but knowing the industry atm this is as smooth as its gonna get (animations sucks)!
