What's my next step?

Go to solution Solved by TheDigitalRealm,

No worries, I figured it out now anyway,

Okay, so I was happily wondering around in my Hanger module in Star Citizen when the screen turned black. I thought it might be a driver crash so I waited, still nothing. Turned the PC off, checked plugs, turned it back on, still a black screen.

So, now I switched from using single-link DVI with my Dell 1080p monitor to the HDMI output on my GPU and paired it with a 720p TV, and it works fine.

So what's the next step to figure out if it's the DVI port on my GPU or on my monitor that broke?

Have you tried the other DVI port?

Both my card and my monitor have one DVI port.

Okay, so I plugged my monitor back in while the TV was operating as the display, and catalyst control center detected my monitor and it ran as a second screen. It now seems to be working fine. The strange thing is though, that it was both times I started Star Citizen that the screen went black on both the TV and the Monitor. Could it be the Hangar Module?
