I need help

PigPen

So i have only 20 bucks but christmas is around the corner. I don't know wether to get a laptop or Pc for gaming. And a little drawing. I'm on a budget of 950$ including accessories. My main use is to hang out with an old friend on Steam. I don't know if i should get a PC or laptop or if i should build the PC and which one should I buy. I need help. Can u please point me in the right directions. Thank you. And to mak this clear i am saving for 3-4 months and not buying a 950$ PC right now.

For $20, buy any random desktop computer on the second hand market. But keep your expectations reasonable (very low).

Well we can't tell you what to buy unless you state your budget.

EDIT: Never mind, you just edited your post.

then ask again once you've saved up the entire sum, anything we give you now will be irrelevant by then.

Use pcpartpicker, buy used parts on eBay and Craigslist, buy last gen hardware, if you aren't after playing AAA titles at 4k60 you can likely build a reasonable gaming system for $400-500 with second hand parts that would outperform a majority of $900 gaming laptops.
