The i7 has Hyperthreading and a bit more cache.

It works but is quite more expensive than what I suggested without being much better.

There's no point getting such an expensive cpu cooler when what you're doing is gaming.

Why 16GB ram? Are you planning to sli?

Excuse the mess, but do you think i will be able to fit 2 23in monitors with the stand here?   i might but the speaker underneath my desk

I'm going to put the build i'm going to make where that case is and move The PS3. I got no where else to put the tower

I can but it will be a tight squeeze plus the floor is rug

I can but it get really dusty and i wouldn't like to deal with that
