Copy ISO from DVD for usb stick Win10

I've got a DVD with that I want to copy onto a usb stick for my mom, her disk drive is broken and doesn't want to wait for a replacement.  I know how to mount an ISO to a USB drive using Rufus, I just don't know how to get the ISO off the disk in the first place.

Unless I'm missing something, you should just be able to use ImgBurn to create an ISO from a disc and then burn that ISO to a flash drive via Rufus, balenaEtcher or whatever bootable USB-based thing you wanna use.

That, or you can download the latest ISO straight from Microsoft if you use a device that doesn't run windows on it, like a mobile phone (or a "mobile browser emulator" extension for chrome).

Because if you use a Windows PC, this page :
https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows10
will make you download their creation tool.
But that same page, if you don't use windows (android/iOS phone, Linux, MacOS, etc...), it lets you straight up download the ISO. Quite useful.

This is good to know. I'll be downloading my windows ISOs using Linux then.
