So I recently built a new pc . But there seems to be a odd issue where the VGA light stays on . Every time I shut down and start back up I have to unplug and replug my HDMI cable . However this problem didn't exist for about 5 days after first startup .

After fiddling with it I got it to boot . I get a post yet the VGA light won't turn off .

That might be a bug in your bios. You should update your bios.

That is not that big of a problem. When u go to sleep, unplug the cable, and when you wake up plug it back again. The bios update might help wiht this one

Thanks I'll try doing this . I did download the latest bios update from Asus . I'm unsure if I installed it correctly as someone once gave me a long explanation about bios updates yet it seemed simple like a normal windows installation
