Fan filters

I just took out my grandma's HP, and took all of the cat hair out of it. I'm kinda thinking about getting some fan filter stuff for the vents, so I can cut some out and use adhesive to put it on. Any ideas?

Use sticky velcro pads so you can easily remove them for cleaning.

I'd use velcro instead of adhesive.

for cleaning use compressed air + if you do your own cleaning using brown tape helps to remove dust from flat surfaces
unless you are using a high quality adhesive tape not glue to stick fan filters id advise with using velcro strips like @Jogostar & @Jamie suggested
also just buy some fans filters off ebay or something

Yeah, that's what I meant. I was thinking a big sheet of the material, and some smallish velcro that will stick to it and the side panel.

Only has a CPU fan. And it sucks dust in like CRAZY through the ventilation. I pulled 5 feet of cat hair out of the front panel.

What are you trying to cover? Fan mounts that are empty or something else?

Honeycomb ventilation holes in the sidepanels (there aren't fans there, PC only has CPU/PSU fans). It's an HP Pavilion P7-1234, BTW.

Ah now i see what you mean. If i were you i'd cheap out and go get some tape and cover all the holes. The PC will get enough cooling without the need ot them holes. And if you cover them up with w/e it will block 95% of the airflow anyway.

They actually sell some custom fan filters for some cases, I can and will get some for my case. I forgot where to get them though.
