it should be in a m.2 slot, so a intel AC 9560 would probably be the best

Here is the model I am using right now. It works fine in windows but ubuntu cannot detect it.

What model can I purchase in order to make it work the best with ubuntu/linux (and windows)?

I am simply looking at hardware solution right now. I want it to work out of the box.

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.
