What 1440p Ultrawide?

Hey, so the AW3418DW was on sale for $1,099 CAD but I waited too long and apparently it ended and is now up to $1,315 CAD. So is my best bet to just sit and wait and use my new rig with a 60hz 1080p until it goes on sale again, or is there another 1440p UW that’s $1,100CADish or cheaper that preforms just as good?

if it was a black friday sale try to call the company that sold the product and say you were interested in the product but you didn't get your salary for the month yet.

They might allow you to buy it at the price of the sale if you're lucky.

I got someone from lenovo to reserve a 240Hz 1440p monitor for me till sunday since it was 1500dkk off the normal price (that's 220USD 293CAD) so i'll only pay 1490CAD

Yes it's on pair with it... however if you don't mind going from 144hz to 100hz and from IPS to VA (VA is actually better than IPS for gaming in my opinion since no backlight bleed, no IPS Glow and deeper blacks) then you could save a lot of money with this monitor instead:

TN is significantly behind both VA and IPS technologies for image quality furthermore 240hz is a gimmick/placebo, past 144hz~165hz the framerate is far too narrow to be any perceptible... don't get yourself fooled by marketing.
