Needing help regarding building my first PC

1. Germany, Budget around 1.500 Euros

So if it is a bit more or less doesn't matter as much.

2. Gaming and Streaming Setup.

I currently mostly play Warframe, Company of Heroes 2, Starcraft 2.

I know those ganes aren't the highest demanding. But I mostly stopped playing newer flashy games because my PC couldn't handle them even at low settings.

So add BF4, BF1 and BF5 to the mix to have an idea of what kind of games I would like to try again.

3. I currently only have 1 HD 60Hz Monitor. But probably will end up buying a new second monitor next year. This new one will have higher hz count. But likely that I won't get a 4k one or if I get one then maybe because it has really good value for it. So then new one for game, second monitor (old one) for chat, discord music etc.

4. Windows 10 will be my operating system but I think about trying out a free version and if needed later purchasing it.

5. My current PC is basically heavily outdated and wasn't good to begin with when it came out.costed like 700 euros back in 2014. Has a 3.2 GHz I5 and GTX 745 4GB from local Media Markt. It is loud, bad performance and seems to get big performance drops now (I cleaned it two times already btw)

My main picking points was something of good value with longjevity and performance while saving on not having RGB. Also that my system would not sp noisy was one point aswell and that I can upgrade it easily to newer parts if needed. Like maybe upgrading CPU to a better Ryzen 7 or 9. Or adding more storage devices. Or a newer, bigger GPU.

parts I have choosen for my new pc:

Case: Be Quiet 801 silver with glass side pannel

Case Fans: gone get 5 Noctua NF-A14 PWM 140x140x25mm 300-1500 U/min 24 dB and will use 3 included be Quiet fans from the case

PSU: be quiet 850 Watts powersupply from there 11 series of psus

Motherboard: MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600x or a AMD Ryzen 7 2700x

CPU COOLER: Noctua NH-D15 SE AM4

Ram: Will buy two sets of 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX LP black DDR4-3200 DIMM CL16 Dual Kit

Meaning 4x8GB sticks

GPU: 8GB Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER Gaming OC Aktiv PCIe 3.0 x16 (Retail)1000GB Samsung 860 Evo 2.5"

SSD: 1000GB Samsung 860 Evo 2.5" (6.4cm) SATA 6Gb/s 3D-NAND TLC (MZ-76E1T0B/EU)

HDD: 3000GB Toshiba P300 High-Performance HDWD130UZSVA 64MB 3.5" (8.9cm) SATA 6Gb/s

Currently would cost me around 1.560 -1.570 euros on mindfactory.de

My main question would be in refard if there are any hints you could give me guys and which CPU to pick.

Ryzen 5 3600x or Ryzen 7 2700x

Aka would the Ryzen 5-be good enough to stream and play or not.

Thx for all help in advance. I appreciate it. And may RNGesus, LOOTcifer bless you guys.

3600x is not a good deal. 3600 is just as good, and you can mildly overclock it if you really need to, to 3600x levels.

You don't need so many fans. Use the money you'd spend on fans on something else.

The motherboard isn't so great. I'd suggest Gigabyte x570 Aorus Elite, but if your budget is really tight, 3600 can work with B450 motherboards (I'd suggest MSI B450-A Pro  or MSI B450 Tomohawk MAX).

You don't need 850w  ... the 2060 uses maybe 200w and the rest of your system 150w.

Go with a more powerful video card like RX 5700XT (similar in performance to 2070 super) and great for 1440p high refresh rate) or something better than 2060

Even then, a single video card won't consume more than 300w and the rest of the computer won't use more than 150-200w... so a 650w psu is plenty for any pc with single video card.

Here's a configuration.. replace case with your own, it's very subjective.

If you go with a B450 board, you'll save around 100 euro

Thx guys for all the help. I will go with the Ryzen 7 3700x then. The Aorus X570 motherboard you suggested and the suggested 2070 Super

And a 650 Watts Powersupply from Be quiet 11 series.

Thx a lot guys
