That's a poop load of money, how 'bout you spend $6,000 of that $18,000 for a PC and save up for a nice car or something. $6,000 is plenty for a overly stupidly uber PC.

Maybe, but $ isn't the symbol for the Israeli Shekel, ₪ is the symbol for the Israeli Shekel, so he should have said ₪18,000. Still a lot of money either way.

To be honest, I would say spend abit less than half ($2000) and then save the rest for upgrading when Haswell comes around along with 7xx/8xxx cards.

Depends on your definition of perfect - under my definition, it would cost minimum $10,000 to get all the stuff I would want, not including monitors + peripherals.
