EA Origin Access FREE MONTH

I've just spent 30 minutes re-securing my email and origin account. Changing codes on my 2FA, passwords for my email and origin.

The reason: I got an email saying that Origin Access accepted my code for a one month sub. The only problem? I didn't do it.

 

Ironically (read unsurprisingly), the link in the email to cancel OA doesn't let you cancel, only change subscription type and billing.

So I started the long drawn and complicated process of trying to contact EA and make sure that if I was hacked, to cancel all subs and payments. Then all of a sudden, at the bottom of the page I was reading... instructions about your free month of OA.

 

FFS, they could have said it was a free gift, now how the hell do I get back 30 minutes of my life, spent wasted trawling their crappy system trying to find WTF is going on.
