Looking to get an server os with less than a hundred mb idle

The title says it all, i have pretty weak spare hardware at my disposal. (2 gb ram, old pentium and 350 gb hard drive space)

Windows 2003 will do that, once you turn off some unneeded services. Also, practically no hassles with activations and all that.

Anything that runs on Windows 7 will run on it.

Windows 2000 will also work, but it's gonna be a hassle to get software install on it ... you may need to install some DLLs to get software that runs on Windows XP work on it. Otherwise it's super stable.
