Hey, I have a pretty bad PC but it’s able to run games I play at a decent frame rate. My PC has a i7 2600 with 16gb of ram and Intel HD graphics 2000. I play mostly CS:GO and Minecraft at 720p (possibly 1080p in the future?). I was wondering what GPU to buy. My budget is around $100. I’d like to stay under $100 but I might be able to spend a little bit over $100. I was also wondering if I can expect any good Black Friday deals on a cheap deal for a good graphics card.

Option A: go for used GPU. it can cost you less while getting better performance but with a risk. (primary options: RX 570,580,1050,1050Ti ect)

Option B: get a cheap GPU with low power (Primary Options: RX 560 , GT1030)

Option C : Raise the budget to 130 and you can get a new RX570

Option D : raise it to 150 and you can get a 1050Ti or GTX 1650.

My computer is a old prebuilt so I don’t know what power supply it has. Is there any way for me to check?

It probably does not have a pcie power connector for a graphics card. So you either have to change the power supply or get a card that doesn't need external power.

What model prebuilt is it?

If you have at least a good 500w power supply I suggest going with the following used GPU's:

GTX 970

GTX 980 (600w psu is recommended)

GTX 780, 780ti (600w psu is recommended)

RX 570

RX 580

RX 470

RX 480

These used GPU's can be found in good shape for around $100 on craigslist, facebook and ebay and give you great performance in games for awhile, even if you have to spend 50-65 dollars on a new PSU it is still better performance and better value than the overpriced GTX 1650.

Gaming With a 4:3 CRT

System specs below

I found a used GTX 970 for $80. Is that a good deal or should I try to find a better one?
