Show your <=$20 gaming keyboard. Mine's Fantech Fighter K613L. It has Fantech's own floating switch, 3 RGB modes, 8 million keystroke lifetime, and a metal body. With a numpad will cost you $12, without a numpad will cost you $11. Nice for gaming, but the keys are too cramped for me. Nice cheap clicky sound tho.

What does “gaming keyboard” even mean?

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

that sounds like a fancy way of saying its a wobbly membrane key.

in fact. it is a membrane key......... doesnt mean its bad, but it usually isnt the best sign when they hide it behind a different name.

would probably spend the extra 15$ on a cheap mechanical keyboard. tho for about 20$, its hard to get anything.

My move has been to use $5 keyboards and treat them as disposable.  A bottom barrel keyboard last as long as a non bottom barrel one.  Mechanicals are different though.
