Hi guys,

Today while I was playing League Of Legends, my pc freezed. The sound out of my headphones got freezed too, it did like "bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz". No blue screeb at all. This happened also a few months ago, i got scared a lot, but after booting the pc using the basical components, and after resetting the bios, it worked well till today. So I did the same thing again and it seems to perform well. Actually I'm running the memtest to be sure that my ramsticks are ok (it is still going on), but to be sincere I dont know what the problem is. The only thing that I've noticed is that my onboard soundcard seems gone, it gives no signal. So i reistalled the driver using the one that asus provides, and im gonna check them later afetr the memtest. I 've alseo checked the psu has the right voltages and all was inside the tollerance values.

My question is: Do I have something wrong with the pc or it can be caused by some strange update from windows? Cuz the pc worked well for a year, the inside is clean, the cables are in order and I didnt do any heavy tasks recently (but that one shouldnt matter cuz it has the right specs to do that kind of works). I've turned off the overclock during the first freeze.

 this is my configuration:

CPU: Intel i7 8700k

COOLING: Noctua NH-D15

MOBO: Asus ROG STRIX Z370-E

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (8x2) DDR4, 3000mhz

SSD: Samsung 960EVO 500GB

HDD: WD Blu Hard Disk 1Tb + Intel Optane 16GB

GPU: Asus Strix Gtx 1080 8GB

PSU: Corsair TX650M

CASE: Cooler Master MsterBox 5

ADDITIONAL FANS: Arctic F13 PWM x 1, Artic F14 PWM x 1(other 2 should be with the case)

Thank you guys for any kind of help, i hope it isnt anything seriuos..... (CPU, GPU), This is my first assembled pc, and i spent a lot of time and effort to save money to build this guy.....

You could try this to check your Windows:

And IOBit driver booster to update most of the drivers.
