If this is a gaming PC, swap the 3700x for a 3600.  If you don't have a gaming monitor, this one will fit your budget.  That PSU is also insufficent for an XT, AMD recommends anyone using the XT have at least 650 watss for boost voltage drops to a single rail.

This is a $1000 build from earlier, you can swap in your case and a 3600 for the 2600 in there.  Also, this one uses a 5700 as it can be flashed with an XT bios for nearly identical performance.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.

you can just stick to a 3600 if you're only gonna be gaming. ignore the 650w recommendation, the 5700XT doesn't eat enough power to need it. don't get a 5700 and flash the bios unless you really know what you're doing.

this is with a 9900k, it's not even close to 500w under load.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W
