Weird switch feeling

My k70 rapidfire switches feel weird after like 7 months of use not all of them but most of the upper ones (f1-f12). I live in a dusty place and the keyboard is dusty could that be the reason why some of my switches sound and feel weird? If so how do i clean it?

maybe dust, pop the key tops off and dust them manually or with compressed air
