can i host an mc server on an old workplace

i am getting a pc with an i5 or higher and atleast 4gb of ddr3 (i can upgrade if i  need more) i was wondering i i could run a minecraft server for 4-5 people on there, or what i have to upgrade to run a mineraft server

you should be able to get playable frame rates, although it does depend on the storage

im probably gonna run two 2tb hard drives in raid 0. (to broke for ssd's)

If there's more than 5 people on at the same time, you probably will lag if you play simultaneausly so what I would do is get more RAM if that is the case.

yeah i was a little worried about ram, i have few 8gb sticks laying around
