No boot after upgrade

Go to solution Solved by SImoHayha,

Remove GPU and see if you get any beeps if not then go below.

Try to re-seat the CPU again and see if that works.

I had a mobo, with a CPU combo and it refused to boot until I re-seated the CPU again.

rig before upgrade:

Case: Corsair 230T
Mobo: Asus Z97-A
GPU: 2 EVGA GTX 960's 2GB SSC running in sli
CPU: Intel i5 4690k
Storage: some 7200 RPM 1 TB HDD and one 250 GB Samsung evo SSD

RAM: 16 gb DDR3 Corsair Vengeance

PSU: Corsair CX750M

rig after upgrade:

Case: Corsair 230T

Mobo: B450 Aorus Pro Wifi
GPU: RTX 2070 super
CPU: AMD 2700x
Storage: some 7200 RPM 1 TB HDD, 250 GB Samsung evo SSD, a 1tb hyperx SSD

RAM: 16 gb DDR4 Corsair Vengeance

PSU: Corsair CX750M

(bold represents upgrade)

I’m doing a massive upgrade, and now whenever i connect the build to power (not even turning it on), it flickers for a split second and then goes dead, the on button doesn’t work.

things i’ve done to try and fix it:

-reset mobo battery, no response

-swapped around ram, one at a time, each slot, no response

-checked my front header connections, shorted front header power pins with screwdriver, no response

-made sure my gpu was in properly

-checked if my psu was working, by doing the corsair method and then putting all my old parts back, still worked

and no, i didn’t assemble this on carpet, i did it on a wooden table, and in the video its on a thick plastic sheet

so is the mobo bricked or what?
