So I made some changes, I am still keen on keeping the 32Gigs of RAM, because this kit is not much more expensive than the 16Gig kit, and Rust eats a lot of RAM. 16 gig

Could also look around for X470 MSI Boards, the vRM is just wider and maybe a little better, has questionably better I/O and maybe better audio

Good evening people, I've put together a PC that will mainly be used for Gaming/Recording/Editing and rendering. https://1a.lv/order/shopping_cart?content=FcrREQAxCALRlgTx1KT%2Fvo787TzAooGDyx5uHl6BHWkRuzxZFKSefCDfWYvJclQENY4f Is there anything in particular i should change? The graphics card i think of buying is an RX 570 or 580 used because money is kind of tight.

Get a case with a mesh front like a Fractal Focus G so you have airflow, you don't need to buy any extra fans straight away.

Probably try to get a 550W PSU if it's not much more expensive for one with good reviews

The VRM on that board isn't that great actually, what's the price comparison to like an ASrock Steel Legend, or an MSI B450 Gaming motherboard?

16GBs of RAM is plenty for even 4k video editing

Should step up to a 500GB NVME drive like a patriot scorch or 660p with the savings from the RAM.

probably try to get an 8GB version of the RX 470/480/570/580

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Any help is greatly appreciated. So I chose the R5 2600 because the 3600 is a good 100 euros more expensive, I changed the PSU to 500 Watt version of the System Power 9, if my calculations are correct the system won't consume much more than 400 watts, which leaves me about 100w as a spare. So my thinking is that the Ryzen 5 2600 is a better choice for recording, gaming, rendering, editing, than Ryzen 3 1200 or whatever I was thinking about. I decided on 32GB of G.Skill Ripjavs V 3200 ram CL16 for better editing and gaming

That PC won't draw more than 250-300W under load, the higher wattage PSU is just so that it's stressed less over time, 500W is fine.

For now I don't intend on keeping this PC for too long, It's kind of a temporary solution. Currently I'm doing most of my work on a Lenovo S340 Laptop and I can tell you that it doesn't pack the punch to handle everything I throw at it.  https://1a.lv/order/shopping_cart?content=HcnJEQAgDMPAluw4B4H%2B%2B4Lw25HYLHLzKFNhD45G%2BIBWxMBh9ktzKR6yGpp1AQ%3D%3D
