Sky q booster

hey guys i have a question for those who know a lot about ethernet connectivity. I have a sky q booster that is connected to my pc through a ethernet cable. As this isnt my router and isnt powerline, is it still ethernet?

This seems to be a wifi extender, so its using wifi to send data.

No it isn't the box will be receiving data from your router wirelessly and then sending it from the booster to your PC by the ethernet cable. This is not an ethernet connection although your computer will see it as such. Why do you ask if you don't mind me asking?
