Are all of your screens set to the same resolution and and refresh rate as they would need to be for Nvidia surround. I am not sure that the Max-Q or mobile SKU's will support Nvidia surround, but cannot find any up to date information on this.

You are correct do not defrag an SSD. Have you cleared the files on the advanced tab of disk cleanup?

Need verification on parts before i buy

Also it might be worth holding fire until B550 is released as you could have the upgraded feature set or it might mean the B450 boards may come down in price a bit. -

Yeah the only thing I would double check is the QVL Ram List for the Motherboard as I know 3rd gen Ryzen isn't as picky but it would mean that you are assured of getting those speeds for the RAM. Someone who has 3rd gen would be best to advise you as I only have experience with 1st gen Ryzen CPU's that were extremely picky with memory. -

Thats fair and would make sense. -

What GPU are you going to be using? As 650W is probably too much for that build. I would look at getting a lower wattage higher efficiency power supply. -
Color of the router... Does it affect the signal?
sky_shark_101 replied to John Christian's topic in Networking
If it did I would highly doubt it would be significant enough to affect the signal and if it was then I would suggest that most companies would rule this out at the R&D phase of designing the product. -
Build list ready, concerned about stuff.
sky_shark_101 replied to gtx1337's topic in New Builds and Planning
You do not need a 1000W power supply for this build. It is definitely overkill. The rest of it looks ok but I am sure someone who is in America would be able to advise regarding value. I would focus on getting a good quality power supply that is in tier S or A in the power supply list that can be found on this forum at the following link. https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1116640-psu-tier-list-40/ -
Does dbrand skin affect cooling on macbook pro?
sky_shark_101 replied to jdavid12's topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
Mine is absolutely fine it is just as hot as it was before it had the skin on. -
Nice. Bent some pins on my brand new LGA3647 Mobo
sky_shark_101 replied to Zzzzeee's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
With the value of the boards associated with this it might be worth looking into someone doing a socket swap for you? I know it is possible but not sure about the success rate on them though. -
So heres the thing. The aforementioned company has the 9980xe listed at over £700 below retail at £1078.79. Link is below. My usual "if it is too good to be true then it usually is" sense is kicking in. Or do you think it could be that the new 10 series refresh on x299 is going to be significantly cheaper to combat the threat of ryzen 9 is having a knock on effect on the 9 series prices. Would appreciate your thoughts on this one, particularly if you have bought a CPU from them in the past. This I think would make things interesting in deciding between intel or ryzen for HEDT. http

No it isn't the box will be receiving data from your router wirelessly and then sending it from the booster to your PC by the ethernet cable. This is not an ethernet connection although your computer will see it as such. Why do you ask if you don't mind me asking?

Have you installed razer synapse as that is required to use 7.1 on Razer headsets. Can be found at the following link. https://www.razer.com/synapse-3

https://support.fractal-design.com/helpdesk/attachments/4048228714 According to the manual it will definitely fit and you could go up to a 420 on the top. The manual link is above and it will show you multiple configurations for water-cooling on there. I also have one with a normal 360 in the top and a thick 240 in the front.
