this is my first attempt anyone get any ideas how to reduce $100 and i didnt want to add storage because that would just put it even further over :(

It seems like you've gotten some pretty good advice. I don't really have anything to add on top of that, besides that you should think about how much performance the extra couple hundred MHz will get you versus spending the money on a good GPU (which you already did).

 

I can tell you that you do need some sort of storage or I can't count your build since it wouldn't actually work as a computer.

i wanted to use the mpower and lightning though because their msis top stuff for over clocking 

The mid range mobo can overclock almost same as that high range can do...probably u can save some bucks...
