Freezing pc.

Go to solution Solved by MartinKweh,

Id say its the ram. especially if all of it got consumed lol (ps: my chrome with 5 tabs eats 2gb of ram lol)

So my pc likes to freeze and I found somewhere that the cpu can cause a freeze when its overloaded and i thought of getting a new one since its not the best anyway I found a core I7 2600 I am going to buy it either way but I wanted to know if it was the cpu or the ram or maybe something else.

optiplex 990 (my pc) specs: core I5 2400 3.1 ghz, 4gb 1333mhz ram, gt 610. If theres anymore info I need to add or if im just in the wrong place let me know cause im knew to the forums.
