Recently I have been having quite a bit of difficulty using my regular software on Windows 10, a lot of the software I use simply won't open or will just freeze on me these days.

I am running my PC on some pretty good hardware, and recently just got my rig upgraded in which the people I sent it too ran a stress test on my PC over night, and it showed that it was perfectly fine. This was before I installed all of my regular software that I usually run on it.

I don't really use anything malicious, but when I try to open programs, a lot of the time it just simply freezes and does nothing.

I have re-setted the settings on Windows 10 quite a few times, but I still keep on getting the same issues.

I have checked to see if I have all of the updates installed, and I have.

So I really cannot figure it out on my own, it must be some sort of windows issue, has anyone else been having the same trouble with their PC's lately?

I really am out of option's here, and have no idea how to fix this.

Could be some faulty driver or some broken windows component. Try running sfc/scannow in cmd to check for windows errors.

If the software is written for older Versions of Windows you might have to run it in compatability mode.

Check if you're missing any redistributable packages or other software components required by the software.

I just ran the sfc/scannow in cmd and it is saying that "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."

I just un-installed and re-installed ITunes, now I cannot even open it at all.

I tried to install the lastpass add on for Chrome, I cannot even install it at all.

I recently had a Samsung 970 EVO NVME drive put into my PC, and had a fresh install of Windows 10 put on that. And I am still getting the same issues that I was getting before I recently got my latest batch of hardware upgrades.

I have two Samsung 970 EVO NVME drives, two Crucial 480gb SSD's and a Seagate 4TB HDD in my Rig, so I am running good hardware. So it cannot be that at all. As I said before, the store I sent my computer to last ran a stress test on my PC before they gave it back to me over night, and it turned out completely fine. And I never install any kind of corrupt software at all.

I install my Kaspersky anti-virus before I run Windows Updates every time I reset my PC and I have Malwarebytes anti-malware.

I really cannot figure it out at all.
